Soya-Matar pasanda.....

Serves:4

INGREDIENTS:

  • Soya nuggets-100 gm.
  • Cumin seeds-1 tsp.
  • Ginger paste-2 tsp.
  • Garlic paste-2 tsp.
  • Onion paste-1/2 cup.
  • Finely chopped tomato-4 tbsp.
  • Turmeric powder-a pinch.
  • Shelled green peas-200 gm.
  • Red chili powder to taste.
  • Garam masala-1 tsp.
  • Refined oil-4 tbsp.
  • Salt to taste.

Method:

  • Heat 3 cups of water & immerse soya nuggets in it,by adding a pinch of salt to it.Cook it for 3-4 min,once it cooked,remove from flame,drain & squeeze out water from it,rinse well in cold water 2-3 times & further it squeeze to dry.
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in pan,add cooked soya nuggets for few minutes & keep it aside.
  • Heat the remaining oil in the pan & add cumin seeds,after half a minute,add ginger paste,garlic paste,onion paste & stir for 2-3 min.
  • Add chopped tomatoes,turmeric powder,red chili powder,salt & cook for few seconds.Add 2 tbsp water & let the gravy simmer to get the desired consistency.
  • Add the soya nuggets & peas.cover the pan & cook till the peas become tender.Add garam masala & stir for 2-3 minutes.
  • "Soya-Matar Pasanda" is ready to serve.Serve hot with chapattis or rice.

Soybean Pualv...

INGREDIENTS:

  • Cooked soya nuggets-1 cup.
  • Rice-1 cup.
  • Carrot chopped(big pieces)-1.
  • Chopped French beans(big pieces)-1/4 cup.
  • Green peas-1/4 cup.
  • Garam masala-1 tsp.
  • Cloves-4.
  • Bay leaves-4.
  • Chopped green chili-1.
  • Chopped Onion-1.
  • Refined oil-2 tsp.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Water-4 cups.
  • Ghee/butter-1 tsp.

PREPARATION:


  • Heat oil in a pan.add cloves,bay leaves,chopped green chili & onion.fry for 2 min & add rice,fry for another 2 min & add water.cover the pan & cook for 5 min.
  • Add cooked soya nugget,chopped carrot,french beans,green peas,garam masala & salt,mix it.Cover & cook till done,lastly add some ghee for nice flavour.
  • "Soybean pulav" is ready to serve....serve hot...

Soya chunks curry(Soya beans/Meal maker tarkari).....


Soya chunks curry is the delicious main course dish made with soya nuggets & potato.Soya chunks has lot of health benifits,its an excellent source of protein & rich in vitamin B.It promotes growth,low in fat & full of energy.Open-mouthed smile

INGREDIENTS:

  • Soya chunks-1 cup.
  • Potato-2 medium size(wash,peel & cut into cube shape).
  • Mixed paste(1-onion,8-garlic cloves,1 piece of ginger,some cumin seeds,3-red chili+1 small tomato)-3-4 tsp.
  • Sliced Tomato-(1-medium size tomato).
  • 1 spoon red chili powder.
  • Sugar-1/6 tsp.
  • 4-5 tsp refine oil.
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala.
  • Salt to taste.
For the seasoning:
  • Phutana(cumin seed+mustard seed+fenugreek seed+aniseed)-1/2 tsp.
For garnishing:
  • Some chopped coriander leaves.
  • Fresh cream(optional).
  • Tomato flower.

PREPARATION:


  • Heat a pan,add 1 cup water,add soya chunks+pinch of salt,bring it to boil,boil it for 3-4 min.Remove from fire,after 10 min drain out of the water,rinse this 2-3 times in fresh water & lightly squeeze out excess water.
*u can do also it in different ways:
               soak soya chunks in water+pinch of salt 3-4 hours,after that rinse it & squeeze it.
  • Heat oil in pan,,fry the soya chunks till golden brown & keep aside.
  • Add 3 tsp refine oil in pan,add sugar,add cumin seed.
  • When it start spluttering ,add mixed paste,red chili powder,turmeric powder,salt stir for 1 min.
  • Then add sliced tomato ,potato cubes stir until the raw smell of mixed paste go.
  • Add 1 cup of water,let the gravy boil for 5-10 min.
  • Add fried soya chunks in this gravy,boiled it for 3 min & sprinkle some garam masala over it.
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves,tomato flower & fresh cream.(*but fresh cream,i did not had sadly,so i didn't add......don't search in the picture.)
  • Soya -potato curry is ready to serveSmiley .Serve it with steamed rice/roti.

Soyabean cutlet

INGREDIENTS:

  • Soyabean chunks-1 cup.
  • Potato -2 medium size(boiled & mashed).
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves-2 tsp.
  • Finely chopped mint leaves-2 tsp.
  • Chat masala-1 tsp.
  • Black pepper powder-1 tsp .
  • Garam masala-1 tsp.
  • Ginger-garlic paste-1 tsp.
  • Chopped onion-1.
  • Green chili-2.
  • Cumin seeds-1 tsp.
  • Corn flour-2 tsp for binding.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Refined oil for shallow frying.  

PREPARATION:

  • Soak soyabean chunks for 30 min in hot water.Squeeze & drain all water from soyabean & grind it(* don't make fine paste).
  • Take a bowl,mix all the ingredients with this mashed soyabean,make it smooth dough,Make small balls & flatten it by using your palms to give it a round/oval shape.
  • Heat a non-stick pan,add some refined oil over the pan,arrange the soyabean cutlet on the pan,shallow fry the cutlet on both side till golden brown in color.
  • Serve  it with tomato ketchup.
