Til ke ladoo(ରାଶ1 ଲଡୁ)...

It specially prepared in special occasions and festivals.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Sesame seeds(til)- 1 cup.

  • Jaggery(gud)-2/3 cup.(crushed & mashed)

  • Ghee-1 tsp+1/2 tsp for greasing.

PREPARATION:

Til ke ladoo(ରାଶ1 ଲଡୁ)...

  • Roast the sesame seed till they are light golden in color,cool & keep aside.

  • Heat the ghee in a pan,add jaggery, caramelizes it in a slow flame & forms a hard ball when u add a drop in cold water.

  • Add the roasted til in it & mix well in slow flame,let it little bit cool.

  • Grease your palm with little bit ghee, divide the mixture into 12 equal portion,give it a shape as your wish.

  • "ରାଶ1 ଲଡୁ" is ready to serve,enjoyParty.

Mudi ke ladoo-Puffed rice Jaggery balls(ମୁଢ଼ି ଲଡୁ)....

This recipe of mudi ke ladoo (ମୁଢ଼ି ଲଡୁ) sounds unique but its very tasty, filled with sweetness and goodness of jaggery. This recipe is directly comes from my mom's kitchen...she is a very good cook i have ever seen....I learn this recipe from my mom.....Secret telling smile

INGREDIENTS:

  • Mudi(puffed Rice)-2 cup.
  • Gud(Jaggery powder)-1/2 cup.
                   *u can adjust the sweetness by taking more/less amount of gud,its totally depends on your taste.
  • Coconut pieces-1/4 cup(optional).
  • Water-1/3 cup.

PREPARATION:


  • Heat a pan,add water,then add gud,allow to heat till it turns thicken syrup.
*One easy step to know that jaggery(gud) is ready for ladoo or not:
1st take 1 plate with some water,drop some jaggery syrup into it,if it float/not sticking with water,then it completely ready for ladoooooooooooo.... 
  • Remove from heat,pour this syrup to the mudi(puffed rice),mix well.
  • Grease your palm with ghee/oil,start making the mixture small/medium/large size ball(as your wish).
  • Delicious & healthy mudi ke ladoo (ମୁଢ଼ି ଲଡୁ) is ready to taste now...Drooling

Kendrapara Rasabali(ରସାବଳି)....

"ରସାବଳି" is a sweet dish from odisha...ରସାବଳି is offered to lord Baladevjew & originated in the Baladevjew temple of kendrapara...It is one of the chapan bhog of Of jaganath temple

INGREDIENTS:

  • Paneer(chenna)-200gm.
  • Wheat flour(atta)-3-4 tsp.
  • Sooji-1 tsp.
  • Sugar-250 gm.
  • Eno-1/4 tsp.
  • Cardamom-2 gm.
  • Milk-500 ml.
  • Refined oil for deep frying.
  • Salt.

PREPARATION:

  • Take a bowl,add paneer,mashed it.Then add wheat flour,sooji,2 tsp sugar,pinch of salt,cardamom powder,eno mix it & make it smooth dough.
  • Make small balls & flatten it by using your palms to give it a round shape.
  • Heat oil in a pan,deep fry the round shape rasabali till both the side turn golden brown.
  • Heat another pan,add milk,3 tsp sugar,1 tsp cardamom powder.boiled it.
  • Then add fried rasabali to the boiled milk & boiled it for 4-5 min in low  flame.switch off the flame.
  • The sweet delicious kendrapara rasabali  "ରସାବଳି" is ready to serve..:)
