Moong palak dal(Spinach with mung)
INGREDIENTS:
- Moong dal-1 cup .
- Chopped spinach(palak)-3 cup.
- Chopped coriander leaves-1/2 cup.
- Cumin seed-1 tsp.
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp.
- Red chilies-2.
- Salt to taste.
- Refined oil-1 tsp.
PREPARATION:
- Wash the moong dal,Pour it into a pressure cooker,add turmeric powder,salt,3 cup water.Close the pressure cooker,Wait till 1 whistle.
- After 1 whistle,switch off the flame,open the pressure cooker,add chopped spinach & coriander leaves into it,stir it.
- Heat a pan,add some refined oil,add red chilies & cumin seeds,when it starts spluttering,add the dal,stir it,let the dal boil for 5 min(if required add some hot water).
- Then serve hot with rice.
