Jeera aloo(Potatoes with cumin seed)..

Potatoes are cooked jeera or cumin seeds and some basic spices .Jeera Aloo can be eaten with Rotis or with bread or puris....Party

INGREDIENTS:

  • Boiled Medium size potato-5-6.
  • Cumin seeds-1+1/2 tsp.
  • Chopped green chili-1.
  • chopped coriander leaves-1 tsp.
  • Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp.
  • Red chili powder-1/2 tsp.
  • Coriander powder-1/2 tsp.
  • Lemon juice-4- 5 tsp.
  • Oil-3 tsp.
  • Salt to taste.

PREPARATION:

Jeera aloo

  • Peel the boil potatoes & cut into cubes.
  • Heat oil in a pan,add cumin seeds,let it crackle,add green chili & potato cubes.
  • Sprinkle turmeric powder,red chili powder,coriander powder & salt,mix it well.
  • Add lemon juice & chopped coriander leaves,mix the whole mixture well,saute it 3-4 min.
  • "Jeera aloo" is ready to serve.serve hot with roti.
