Its a south Indian dish..
INGREDIENTS:
Bhendi/okra/ladies finger-10-12.
Chopped tomato-2(medium size).
Chopped onion-1.
Curd(whisked)-1/2 cup.
Cumin seed-1 tsp.
Mustard seed-1 tsp.
Red chili powder-1 tsp.
Turmeric powder-1 tsp.
Urad dal-1 tsp.
Red chili-2.
Curry leaves-10-12.
Refined oil-3 tbsp.
Salt to taste.

- Grated coconut-1/2 cup+broken cashew nut(kaju)-2 tbsp.
PREPARATION:
- Wash & clean the bhendi,cut it into big size pieces.Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan,fry the bhendi to avoid stickiness without changing its beautiful green color & keep aside...
- Heat oil in the same pan,add cumin seed+mustard seed+urad dal. when it crackle add broken red chili & curry leaves.then add chopped onion,stir till it golden brown in color.
- Add tomato,chili powder,turmeric powder,ground paste & salt.fry till oil comes out from the sides
- Add curd+1 cup of water to the mixture,add fried bhendi & cook for 2-3 min.
- Delicious "Dahi bhendi" is ready to serve.
